I believe that a great many stock investors would welcome the ability to virtually compare statistically and graphically the EPS, P/E, Price, and Yield of 2 different stocks or stocks and indices, in which the client is interested. The historical data can be obtained from several firms and software can be developed to divide the data elements re one stock versus that of the other stock or index.

The original Perspective investor information service was provided to institutional clients of Arthur Lipper Corporation, a NYSE member firm, which I started, owned, and managed. The service, 60-years ago, took the form of quarterly published chartbooks. At the time, the service could only display graphically the relative performance of stocks relative to that of the DJIA. Currently data and technology permit the relative virtual comparison of any 2 stocks, for which there is data. The operation of this online service business would require a very small staff, most of whom would be involved in marketing.

I wish to either staff, fund and launch a new firm, or explore with an existing company the possibility of creating a Perspective II service for subscribing investors.  The necessary data is readily available, and the Perspective II software can be easily developed. It will also be necessary to have an ability to serve clients 24/7 in providing the relative data graphically as below. The data can also be provided in a tabular format.

As a free-standing service, independent from brokerage or other services, Perspective II will be highly profitable and a significant source of information for investors.
