You can every day generate and complete a task. The task can be reading or writing something to yourself or to others. Addressing a big or little problem. The point is to have an identifiable accomplishment.
You can every day communicate in some way, with someone who does not expect to hear from you. The point is to prompt thoughts about those of those who are not in frequent contact or of immediate concern.
You can every day think about 5 things regarding which you are very fortunate. The items can be repeated daily, but it would be constructive if you identified an increasing number.
You can every day think about 5 terrible things which did not occur to you.
You can every day think of something which you could do for or with another person which, if successful, would benefit both of you.
You can also think every day of what you could do to help someone without there being any direct benefit to yourself.
You can also think every day of additional goals to add to this list.
