I am not a genius and have not invented royalties.

The investment in royalties by the owner of an asset allows others to use that asset, in return for sharing the resulting benefit, rather than sharing in the ownership of the user’s asset. Royalties are pre-biblical and traditional.

 

 

 

 

Using an asset, which can include money, owned by others, to finance the development of an asset, for the revenue sharing benefit of both the owner of the asset and the user of the asset is an act of genius.

Royalties are the asset use fee paid by users to asset owners.
